Instalando Plone 4 no Ubuntu

O que iremos fazer?

Iremos instalar a versão 4 (sep 01, 2010) do Plone no Ubuntu 10.10

Mãos a obra!

Entre no site do Plone4 na seção de Downloads:

e baixe o tar.gz

Só idéia boa!

Eu gosto de organizar as coisas, então criei uma pasta na minha /home chamada Plone/Plone4 para instalar essa versão do Plone.

Entre na pasta e descompacte o arquivo:

cd /home/plone/plone4
tar -zxvf Plone-4.0-UnifiedInstaller.tgz

Agora execute a instalação:

./install.sh standalone --target=/home/plone/plone4 --user=admin --password=admin

 A instalação se iniciara:

Detailed installation log being written to /home/hrsantos/plone/Plone4/install.log

Rootless install method chosen. Will install for use by system user hrsantos

Installing Plone 4.0 at /home/hrsantos/Aplicativos/Plone4/

Compiling and installing jpeg local libraries ...

Skipping zlib build

Compiling and installing readline local libraries ...

Installing Python 2.6.5. This takes a while...

Agora entre na pasta /instance:

cd /home/plone/Plone4/zinstance

 Iniciando o Plone:

./bin/instance fg

INFO Zope Ready to handle requests 

Antre no seu navegador preferido e acesse o endereço:

Clique em Criar um novo site Plone e digite o login e senha da instalação no nosso exemplo admin e admin

Faça as suas escolhas e clique em cria plone site

Pronto agora é so brincar com seu novo Plone Site
